Urban Rhythms

Laughter on the 23rd Floor, a play by Neil Simon, is the source for our inspiration for this exhibit. Artists were asked to think “Urban” and be inspired by the fast-paced rhythm of New York City.

Two of my pieces were chosen for this exhibition: EQ and Stop

EQ - EQ describes a process of adjustment meant to clarify rather than dominate, a quiet prompt for emotional balance — a reminder that harmony is not silence, but an intentional shaping of what we choose to hear, hold, and release.

Stop - A quiet directive. More than a command, it invites pause and presence — a reminder to interrupt the rush of daily life, notice the moment, and allow space for reflection. Sometimes the most meaningful action is stillness — a deliberate halt that allows us to reset, reconsider, and simply exist.
